- saw acadia in salem - will write about what happened later.

- totally discovered that i can't really handle spicy foods anymore. *pout*

- gave practiced shaving on austin. gave him a faux hawk. it actually looked good. but had to shave it off cuz he wanted to be cool for summer and doesn't like gel. drats.

- gave jonah a haircut for the very first time yesterday! i am so glad i finally decided to practice and just do it. love that shaving machine.

- am having a pretty good day. am still not quite over the pox yet. i still have about one more week left of healing time. the huge scab on my forehead has yet to go away. grr.

- am reading eckhart tolle's the power of now. woaw. great read. i love the fact that each book i read is essentially the same in theory, but when an author says it in their own way it's equally compelling and powerful in a reinforcing kind of way.

I just finished up writing my essay for my graduate school application. I feel better with that part over with. Now I can move on to finishing up the other sections. Hopefully I can get it mailed out by tomorrow or the day after.

I'm still coughing and quite congested. AGH. I finally connected with my best friend on the vid cam. Yay. Even his roomie could hear me coughing all the way from the other room. I was shocked. Hah! I'm going to conk out and bliss out. I hope I dream some good dreams tonight.

I'm doing better today. Although I'm having a bout of insomnia right now. Argh. I will write about what happened in a couple of days. I'm pretty much calmed down and centered.
